Original problem is the blower fan is not coming on. The service mode diagnostics indicates "there is a problem with the inlet thermistor". I removed it from machine & tested the continuity; it is reading 0 for resistance. The service manual says it should measure 2.27 at room temp. Does this mean it is bad & needs to be replaced? Before I knew about this forum, I ordered the part from my local appliance store. I just went to pick it up & the new replacement part also shows 0 for resistance. So maybe 0 is normal? They didn't know; last time I order from them! So my question is:

If I measure for resistance to determine if the inlet thermistor is bad (it is part #WE04X10111) by touching the meter probes to the 2 connections on the plug & it reads "0", does this mean it's bad? I'm confused because the new part also measured "0".

Thank you for you help. It is nice to have experts to answer questions when I DIY. I will order from here from now on...
