Have you tried to turn the drum manually like you did it with the old motor?

Default new symptom

timer isnt workin like it did b4....used to run down even if dryer didnt run......does the thermal fuse affect the timer knob

You have to have a simple multimeter in order to test a few parts.

The first thing I would do is check for 120 VAC at the wall outlet.

Check the door switch for continuity.

Open the control panel. Remove the wires from the push button start switch and check for 120 VAC between the wire which was connected to the R1 terminal and ground.

Check for continuity between the R1 & R2 terminals on that switch wile it's depressed.

Post the results.

Here is the wiring sheet.

the door switch had become disconnected.....yall rock
