My whirlpool dryer isn't heating up. I replaced my operating thermostat an it still won't heat. When I checked the operating thermostat after I replaced it, it still shows that it's bad. Also the thermal cutoff is showing to be bad. If the thermal cutoff is bad would it show the new operating thermostat to be bad also?

I took my multimeter an read ohms on both sides of thermostat with one wire on terminal and one off of the terminal, and they both read "ol" so then I took my leads to the multi-meter an touched them together and the meter was reading, so I no the meter is working.

Hi.
It's too many bad thermostats for one dryer. Check you meter settings. Before replacing any of the thermostats install the jumper wire across the one in question and run the dryer.
Post the results.
Simon.
