Question Admiral Dryer Dead
Model Number: LNC7749A71 Rev 11   Brand: Admiral   Age: More than 10 years

Dryer completely dead. Will not start when timer button is pressed. Interior light does not come on. There is power to the outlet. The door switch clicks when pressed. The timer has been replaced within the last 3 months. What would be the next logical steps to take/parts to check? Thanks in advance for any help...

yep. I put a meter on the outlet and got 115V from line 1 to neutral and 115V from line 2 to neutral. light in dryer was working prior to failure. is there a fuse (thermal or otherwise) internal to this dryer that I should look for?

Check to see if the belt is broken being over 10 years old there a good chance that it is .Can you take the bottom panel of the dryer,if so you can see if it broken.Another thing is open the dryer door and turn the drum,if it turns easy then the belt is broken.
