i have a Whirlpool SGDS800JQ2 GAS DRYER the igniter wont turn on i replaced it with a new 1 but it still wont turn on

Very likely the problem is a bad thermal fuse (#7 at the diagram). For the test ONLY you can bypass it to see if the ignition will work.

If the thermal fuse is the culprit, it has to be replaced together with the cycling thermostat (#9). At the same time you have to clean the dryer inside and the dryer vent line.
