Hi, i own a kitchen aid dryer which has stopped working. It has two knobs on the control panel, the timer knob and the push to start button. The dryer does not start in any setting, BUT, when i hold the timer knob in place and start it, it will stay on as long as im holding the timer knob, if i let go, the end of cycle buzzer goes off....It heats and tumbles while i hold the knob, but thats no good. What can the issue be?

HI.

I'm confused - do you push and hold the timer knob or the start button?

Simon.
