Here are your parts Replacement parts for Kenmore 41788042700 | AppliancePartsPros.comI could not find any tech info on the given model. I can tell you that the unit is made by Frigidaire. So I looked at what other units use the same control board. I was able to find the tech sheet for a 417.98056701 See the attachment for this, it should be close to yours. Try unplugging the unit for a couple minutes to see if it will reset. Try running the diagnostics. When it shuts off can you restart it right away or do you have to wait? Often if you have to wait it is an indication that the motor is overheating. It's internal thermal protect opens and then you have to wait for the motor to cool down and the protect to reset before it will start again. |

Yes this is the exact paper it has. I tried the instructions as well. After it turns off I have to open the door and press cancel. It restarts. But I ran the test and it stays on less dry and damp. It doesn't go to more dry

Is this the test on Page 2. And if so which one. If it is test 3, it is checking if the moisture sensor is OK. I am not sure whey it sticks in less dry. Clean the moisture sensor bars to see if the Damp light will go out. Did the other tests run OK?
Did you try the diagnostics on page 1? |
