dryer ignites heats apr. 30 seconds then shuts off flame. I ordered new coils and replaced them . The coil valve was marked FSP 279834. What do you recommend I do next to get the gas valve to stay on? thanks

How did you run this test - with or without a load? If it was a load, how wet it was?

Disconnect the vent hose from the dryer and do it one more.

Default I disconnected the vent & put a small wet load in the dryer. The gas cycled on for ab

I disconnected the vent & put a small wet load in the dryer. The gas cycled on for about thirty seconds, then went off for a couple mionutes, then cycled on for abouit 15-30 seconds & went off again.

If there is nothing with the air flow trough the dryer and the gas valve coils are new, then the problem can be a bad cycling thermostat as well as a bad high limit thermostat (#8 & #15 at the diagram). There are no way to check them instrumentally, so you may want to replace them both together or one at a time.
