Dyer has power, wont start
Model Number: YMEDE200XW Brand: Maytag Age: 1 - 5 years
Hi there my Maytag 2000 series model number YMEDE200XW has power to the control panel switches, lights ect. However when I go to start it it wont start and beeps twice. I replaced the interior light bulb which blew out right as the issue occurred and it stays on when the door is closed. Of course the dryer is only 2 months off warranty so I'd like to save some money and try fixing it myself. To me it seems like its locking me out of starting because it think the door is open.
Is this simply a matter of replacing that door switch? If so does any one have any advice, pictures or diagrams of the inside of this before I start taking it apart? Thanks in advance for any advice you can share with me Ads By Google Related Models
