Our Gas dryer will not STAY hot. When you start it, it gets hot for about 5 minutes, then it will not relight to heat up again. Tried replacing both thermostats, but that did nothing. Thinking the coils ? Wondering if there is a way to tell which of the 2 is bad, or if you just have to replace them both.

Hi.

Most likely the problem is the bad control coils. They come as the kit.
