I have a Whirlpool dryer that is 11 years old (bought new 2001) and its has the Accu Sensor. No problems until last week, dryer would not turn on. Traced it down to being the thermal fuse and replaced that. Now when I use the Accu sensor portion of the timer it stays running and the timer does not count down. The clothes dry and the vent is clean etc. The regular timer portion works. I have cleaned the contacts on the sensor with alcohol as well. Any help or how to figure out the problem would be greatly appreciated so I can use the Accu Sensor to do the drying instead of the regular timer.
