Cool Forum.
I watched youtube to find out how to trouble shoot my dryer. I found no continuity in the Dryer Thermal Fuse.
I had no way to check whether the one I bought in this sight is the right one or not? The one I oredered looks just like the picture, but I did not know how to check to make sure it was the right Dryer Thermal Fuse?
The one I bought is part #AP3132867.
For a Kenmore Model 97282100.
So did I buy the right one? Are they all the same? I bought this dryer used and have been using it for 7 years with no problems. Good dryer.
One more thing..........................................How do you check for gas leaks?
Thanks.

I did see your post earlier but you asked about checking for gas leaks and I do not work on gas units.
Also your model number seems to be missing the first 3 digits. Kenmore numbers are usually 3 digits, a period and then 6 to 8 digits.
You have probably already done the below but just in case you have not. Check/clean your vent system and make sure that the louvers in the outside vent open fully as these are the most common cause of the fuse blowing. |
