My whirlpool gas dryer modle lgr660pq1 will tumble endlessly and will not dry. the burner sounds like it comes on for a short time and kicks off then on again in a few moments. it never gets hot enough to dry and the timmer seems to never move. it will spin all day if you dont stop it. I cleaned out the venting system thinking it was blocked up ( and it was) but this didnt change anything. Any suggestions from the pros? thank you for your time and input.

Have you checked the vent outlet?

Remove the rear panel and the lint chute (#1 on the diagram) and clean it.

i have cleaned out all areas. checked all the thermostats and thermo fuse for ohms readings. i ran the dryer and see the igniter lighting up and then goes out after a few seconds. the igniter turns on and off at about 45 second intervals. it will fire the burner once in a while but not enough to heat anything.readings with ohm meeter are :
thermal fuse 0
operating thermostst: red/white to red = 0
purple to purple = infinity or open
thermal cutoff = 0
high limit thermostat = 0
flame sensor = 0
valve coils are: 2 wire 1350
3 wire: black to blue 1425
black to white 575
blue to white 575
have i missed anything or is it all within good ranges. now im lost as to where to go next.
Thank you again for any help you can offer.
