Greetings all,

As with most of the posts I have seen, I am also having dryer problems! A few days ago, the dryer began blowing cold air only producing heat within the first few minutes of the cycle then stopping. I checked airflow and made sure the breaker was not kicked. The timer also is not moving and just continues to the cycle for hours on end (I learned the hard way when I went out for a few hours while it ran!). I admit that I'm not too handy when it comes to these things, however, eager minds will get things done and I'm quite determined to fix this. Any help?

Ok, use an electrical meter to test for continuity in the thermostat devices. These are probably not your problem, but check them anyway on the way to looking for the likely problem, your gas burners.

If they check out, your problem is probably in the gas burners. Look at the various posts on this site with gas dryers with heating problems and you will find out what to do.
