Duet dryer doesn't turn on, can't program . I open the bottom panel and found the diagnostic sheet then I tried to put it in a diagnostic mode to do the test and I can't program it nothing light up as I program. There are two boards in this dryer, the one up front for customer access and there is a control board inside on the top left, what I'm not sure about is which one of these board need to be replaced. Can you tell me which one of these board is likely to be defective and need to be replaced I do not want to order the wrong part because the parts are expensive.

This is a very frustrating situation because the only way to be certain is to change out the parts, and as you state, they are pretty expensive.

The likely problem is the main control board, but here is the service manual which will give you some trouble shooting methods which may increase the liklihood of getting the right part.

Good luck.
