Just replaced the complete wiring harness and pigtail after dryer shorted out. dryer now gets hot when plugged in, but nothing works.

Hello.

Before going any further, make sure the harness is installed correctly.

Check the thermal fuse, if it's open the motor would not run.

With dryer unplugged check if there is continuity at the motor contacts M1 - M2. If they are closed - replace the motor.

The combination of this two things may be the reason for the problem you have.
