Hello, I have a model electric dryer. The clothes seem to get caught by the drum when you open the door they are hanging or stuck, usually burned or marked by rust or even holes. From what I have read there is a seal that is suppose to go there? What steps are needed to replace this seal? The drum seems almost loose as if you open the regular door you can reach in and actually push up on the drum slightly. Thank you so much

I would say that as a first step you should replace the rear bearing. Here is the kit to do that.

Part number: AP2142648
Part number: AP2142648

When you do this you will have to take out the drum, and you can then see if the front felt or other parts will need replacing.

If you will click on your model number you will be taken to exploded views of your machine. You start by inserting a screw driver in the gaps between the front and the top at the edges to release clips. This will allow you to flip up the top. You cn then take off the front, remove the drum from the machine and go from there.

Good luck.
