Dryer Repair

I have checked all sensors and they check out ok. I have put on new solenoid coils on the gas valve. I took off the out side plug and got gas from it. I checked the igniter and the end was broke. I know I do need to replace the igniter but will that stop gas from coming out of the little hole to the Chanel going to the igniter? Thank you for your help.
