Dryer runs, but does not heat. Also does not turn off after cycle is complete.

Remove the rear panel. Check the thermal fuse (#9 at the attached diagram) for continuity. Replace it if there is no continuity.

Took out the fuse - no continuity. Jumper'd the connection - got heat. One point for Gene.
Now, the other issue is the dryer does not turn off. The timer runs through the cycle, then hangs up at the OFF point. Timer Switch? |

Check for voltage 220, heat element continuity, braker switch collapsed in one 110 side, bad cable(check for continuity with a meter. Make sure is disconnected from power source. Temp sensor open?, thermal fuse blown(Check for continuity) All the checks with power disconnected from outlet, please!.
