This must be one of them dryers that rely on a dryer sensing board to feel the dampness. As them wet clothes rub against the strips (which are basically located inside below the filter or opposite the filter) the board has a capacitor which gets discharged. As long as the wetness is there the clothes keep a truckin. If junk gets on them sensors then the dryer THINKS them clothes is dry and heads towards the finish line prematurely. Supposed to be an energy saving feature, go figure. Clean them strips with windex or 409 and party on! :D
