Model Number: sde5401ayw Brand: Maytag Age: 1 - 5 years
my dryer front seal cylinders went bad and the clothes started to burn i need to replace the front seal you have the part. The question is do i need a glue or somthing to stick the seal to the metal bracket that holds the tub in place and what a good way to get the old one off.

Carefully scraping it off with a single edged razor blade or using a razor knife would be the way to get rid of the remnants. The below part # is high temp adhesive to glue it back on. Part number: AP4284239
