Hello everyone! I have a cabrio dryer that intermittanly gets hot. Just a stab in the dark I replaced the ignighter, it lit the flame first shot. I thought I had it licked loaded the dryer just to find out that it wasn't workin! I then looked through the peep hole in the front of the dryer to see if it was lighting and the ignighter is glowing but the flame will not ignite. Does anyone have any good suggestions on where to start at this point? :(

Hello . Here is where I would start. Check the coilsPart number: AP3094251
Part number: AP3094251
and see if they test good. You can test the coils using a multi-meter. The two prong coil will read 1,000-1,300 ohms, and the three prong coil will read 1,300-1,400 ohms across prongs 1&2, and 500-600 ohms across prongs 1&3. Test the coils after running the dryer for about 10 minutes. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps.
