It keeps repiting these on and off all the way to the end of each sycle.never produsing heat that can dry the cloths.I have replaced the {PIgniter, the heat sensor, and the gas valve coils}That did not fix the problem .It is geting to be to expensive Just Changing parts I think that there is ony 3 parts left ,The Gas valve,The sycle thermostat, and the safty limit Thermostat.Wich part of this last 3 soulld I put in it pto fix the problem? And it is non of this 3 part that are creating the problem what is it ? please can someone help? Thank you in advance Uniden Ads By Google Related Models |

Sounds like the vent to the outside is clogged. Try unhooking the vent hose from the back of the dryer, and pull the dryer away from the wall about 2 feet, and run a cycle and see what it does. Tom ********************************************

Hello.
Your are right - not much left to replace... If you fill comfortable with running life test, bypass cycling thermostat and see if it makes any difference. If not - bypass the high limit. Best if you can put a thermometer right at the end of dryer's vent. Should be looking for 145-155 deg.F. Important - don't run the dryer without wet laundry inside. Do not attempt to leave "jumpers" on any of the thermostats, replace bad parts. Please check one more time the air duct attached to the front panel for clogges. On the attached breakdown diagram #4 position #6. The safety thermostat Part number: AP2152884 The cycling thermostat Part number: AP3214939 Here are breakdown diagrams and Replacement parts for Frigidaire GLGR642AS5 Frigidaire/gas Dryer | AppliancePartsPros.com Post the results.
