Hi Folks

My dryer will not run - I have power, I have checked the thermal fuses and they are fine. When I set the timer it runs only if the dryer door switch is in the out position. (As if the door was open and if you push the switch in it stops)
The light works and if you push the switch in the light goes out like it should if the door was closed.

Any Ideas ??

Check the outlet. You should have 240VAC. There may be a partially tripped breaker. If it's OK, the next thing to do is try it in all the cycles to see if it works in any, all, or none of them. Please post your findings.

Hello again and thanks for your help.

I have 240 volts and does not work in any of the cycles.

Try reversing the wires on the door switch.

Switching wires did not help and now I have nothing. The light does not come on and the timer does not click any more. I know its something simple to fix it drives me crazy because there is hardly anythng to these things.
