I have kenmore electric dryer model 110, the timer motor doesn't stop running at end of cycle. Heating element sometimes runs when dryer is off. Found cycle start button is fried closed, will rplace but even with this switch out of the circuit the timer motor keeps on running, any ideas?

Bakmjk,
If the dryer strat switch is stuck in the closed position, with your description the element staying on and the timer motor advances, I'd start by testing the timer motor terminals on the timer to see if they are stuck closed, and the heat circuit terminals are intermittent or sticky, in the off position.
