Model Number: DWSR405EB2CC Brand: GE Age: 1 - 5 years
I have a GE electric dryer model DWSR405EB2CC. It will run and work fine if you hold the start switch to the right (clockwise). If you don't hold it in place it stops. The front door switch works fine.
I cannot find another thread that will help me with this problem. Can anyone help? Thanks! Ads By Google Related Models |

Most likely the switch inside the motor is bad or dirty sometimes blowing the motor out with compressed air and then vacuuming it will make it go back to work. If this doesn’t work I would say you have a bad motor. Clothes Dryer Repair Guide
