Exclamation washer spin problems
Model Number: lxr7144eq1   Brand: Whirlpool   Age: 5 - 10 years   

my washer is a whirlpool, it does wahing cycle ok but when it comes to the spin most of thie times it just drain the water ,i have to either move the timer again to the spin cycle or open and close tehe lid in order to get it spin, timer and lid switch been replaced but still same problem ,please help me

no idoes same thing with or without any load

Possible a transmission going bad.

Remove the cabinet and the pump. Turn the motor shaft clockwise - the clutch disk should turn and release the break. Then turn the motor shaft counterclockwise - the agitator should move.

Post your findings.
