I have a Frigidaire dryer, (FDE216RES1) and the main back shaft (ballhitch) broke a few weeks back, stoping the dryer. I replaced that, and noticed that the Coil electric dryer had broke and shorted out to ground. I replaced that. Still no heat, so I read some on the web and got out my Ohms meter and checked the Thermostat ,Thermal limiter ,and T - stat, reg - heat for any shorts, and they all tested full electrical continuity. I noticed that on the timer the Resistor, power showed braking in the shilding, so I replaced that. But the old one tested the same as the new one I bought. Why is this dryer not working? Please help me before my wife makes me buy a new one!
