Model Number: FEZ831AS1 Brand: Frigidaire Age: 1 - 5 years
Hi There,
I bought this stackable washer/Dryer ( Model #FEZ831AS1) about an year back and used it. Now that I have moved to UK, I moved my W/D as well since it was working on 220V power. Now before I plug it in, I would like to have some expert opinion as when we say that the model works on 220V, can I just plugin since in UK its 220v power all over? When I was going thru the diagram etc. I noticed one things though. In US, it used to be 220V but actually it was 110V +110V meaning each of the two pins used to get 110V which in turn makes 220V. Now here in UK, just one pin get 220V , the other pin is called Neutral and 3rd one is for earthing. Any suggestion from Pros would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks in advance VMJ Ads By Google Related Models |

I am guessing you cannot use your stacker in England for a number of reasons.
1. In the US, we get 220/240 from two 110/120 lines. Parts of your machine use just the 110/120 line. 2. The mH of English power is different from US (50 vs 60) If you want more info I suggest you contact Frigidaire, here is their customer service site http://www.frigidaire.com/customersupport.aspx but I just do not see how this can work unless some type of adapter/transformer is available.
