Model Number: DBXR463EB1WW Brand: GE Age: 1 - 5 years
I just purchased this GE electric dryer used. It works fine. But the lint trap (the thing your pull out and clean after each load) is missing. It had been used (a lot, I gather) without the lint filter.
I've ordered a replacement, so that's no problem. But my question is this: Is there anything special I need to do based on the fact that the dryer has been used without the lint filter? I realize that the dryer's lifespan my be affected, and I'll just live with that as long as it keeps working. But I wanted to make sure there's no safety hazard, or if there's anything in the dryer that needs to be taken apart and cleaned or anything. Thanks. Ads By Google Related Models |
