My dryer wouldn't turn on this morning. I called Whirlpool and they think that the control panel is bad. How do I know it's bad, before I order the part?
Can the thermal fuse cause a dryer to not turn on? Maybe it's that part instead. Help!!
Cheers, Mary Ellen
I have only had it for two years.

If you called Whirlpool customer service you probably got someone that knows less about dryer repair than you.

Yes, the thermo fuse can cause this and is the most likely cause. If that is not the problem check the door switch. Clothes Dryer Repair Guide
