Dryer rubbing/scraping noise

Model Number: FSE747GES1 Brand: Frigidaire Age: More than 10 years

Dryer makes a loud rubbing and scraping noise when the drum rotates clockwise. Seems to turn freely when it changes to counterclockwise rotation with little to no noise. Is this a bearing problem?

Take off the front panel and check upper dryer drum front seal.
Most likely it is damaged.

Part number for the seal AP2150497.http://www.appliancepartspros.com/pa...JhcC8%3d .jpg

Also another thing to consider is rear bearing kit.

Part number for the seal FRIGIDAIRE Rear Drum Bearing Kit, part number: AP2142648
