Takes too long to dry:Duet
Model Number: GGW9250PW0 Brand: Whirlpool Age: 1 - 5 years
 Found lint at 90, didn't go farther. Gas dryer, ignites for 10 to 15 seconds then shuts off.??

Most likely the problem is clogged vent not the dryer itself. Disconnect the vent hose from the dryer and run one or two loads with the hose disconnected. If the drying time is better then the vent needs cleaning. Good luck. Gene.

Thank you for the input, the vent stack 90's into the wall and up through to the roof. need to purchase a long brush the clean the stack anyway....

Vent was blocked at roof level, wasp nest and lent, thank you. Just need to find vent brush?.....

You can try the LintEater, rotary dryer vent cleaning kit which attaches to a drill and will clean a dryer vent. The part number for the LintEater is AP4240727 Good luck. Gene.
