dryer. high pitch screeching... just recently started. taking it apart this weekend...
question: can the wife run a load or 2 through it.? i assume it will be the common screeching problem. probably a worn or degreased part.
sounds metallic in nature i assume it is going to be a roller or slide.

If it is a rear center bearing drum support type then that would be at the top of my list.
Also front glides are a common cause.
Also the idler wheel.
Could even be that something has fallen into the blower. |

Its a white westinghouse heavy duty..

runnning fine right now. gonna run some laundry and then start taking it apart.
any ideas what i should be looking for if it only makes the noise on a very light load?
