Hello, I have a GE Adora front loading propane gas dryer. I converted it from natural gas to propane about 6 years ago when it was brand new.

It doesn't dry our clothes anymore. I attempted to work on it the other day and this is my symptoms. It will ignite once at the beginning of the cycle and that is the only time it ignites. I have positively confirmed it does ignite at the beginning of a cycle in a preset setting or timed cycle. When stopping and restarting the cycle it won't ignite. I can hear it trying too but it doesn't. When it sits for awhile it will ignite again only one time at the beginning of the cycle.

Any tips or starting pointers ???

Sounds like the gas coils have gone bad...diagram #7 on your model, items 729 and 731 are the coils you need...

This was the issue as well for me, and to note that you can hear a ticking sound like the coil is trying to operate in mine instance.

I ordered the two above mentioned parts and it took all of 15 mins to install and works like new again! Thank you appliance pros, cost me about 50 bucks including shipping for both coils, and to get if fixed was about 300 bucks for labor parts and all that crap.

Thanks to you and the women and men saving money here!
