Model Number: LEQ9508LW Brand: Whirlpool Age: 5 - 10 years
I have a 6 yr old Whirlpool dryer that will not shut-off when set to the automatic dryer cycle. If I move it to the timed cycle it will shut-off, however it doesn't get as hot as the Automatic cycle. Could this be the Power Resistor? If so, are they relatively easy to replace? I've replaced the belt and idler pullings before, but haven't sone any electrical repairs.
