Maytag dryer-no exhaust from vent, but turns, heats
 

My Maytag drum turns, heats. But there is no exhaust from the vent. Found large nut (could be from shaft through blower wheel) in cabinet. If I put the nut back, will the wheel turn? Is the blower wheel motor inside its housing? If not, what makes the wheel turn?
