Dear Sir/madame:

My Gas Dryer Appears To Be Working Fine. Due To My Bad Washer, We Have Not Been Using The Dryer For Almost Two Years. During The Course Of Owner This Dryer, We Have Repaired It Several Times. My Question Is The Drum, It Is Faded/somewhat Rusty Looking. Did A Test Dry And Nothing Seem To (rust) Rub Onto The One Piece Of Clothing(white), Thus Far.

Is There Anything One Could Do To Resurface The Drum Or Does The Drum Have To Be Replaced? And Does One Know When To Replace A Drum Of A Dryer?

Thank You.

Hi Tony

As long as the drum does not deposit any color or stain on the clothes, let it be. The sole function of the drum is to turn the clothes so the hot air can dry them. If your dryer is working fine, don't worry about it.

Good luck
