Im trying to fix my electric dryer but Im not sure how to check if the thermostats work. I have a multimeter and if I can use that please tell me how. Also what can be other problems with my dryer if it wont heat up it just turns on and does everything else but heat up and dry clothes. :confused:

Your thermal cut-off could be at fault or you could have a bad heating element.

Also be sure to check the voltage to your dryer.
