Dryer Repair

when i push my button to start my gas dryer, the dryer makes a 'buzzing' sound and the the drum never moves. up until the other day, i could push the button and u would hear the buzzing sound but the drum would slow start to turn and finally go ahead a start working. it would run for approximately 15-20 minutes and stop. when i push the start button to long without the drum turning, i smell a 'burnt' smell. HELP!

Hi John

Many of the posts now have the same problem and the same diagnosis. It sounds very much like your motor will have to be replaced (I think this is the third and counting time I have said this on the Forum today).
