You will need to unplug the dryer.
Then lift the top up from the front, top is hinged on the back.
Then remove the front of the dryer.
Next disconnect the belt from the idler pulley and then lift the drum up a couple inches to release it from the rear bearing and remove the drum from the dryer.
You will then be able to see the heating element that is behind the drum.
