Have a Kenmore Elite Smartheat QuietPak 9 dryer bought in 2005-06. Its one of those with the seethruogh door. Handle broke and does not appear to be molded on the door itself. I am not able to locate the part by the model number. Model number 110.8588400 for the dryer does not appear in the data base. Serial # MS4616264. Thank's in advance for any help locating part #

There appears to be four separate handles for your machine. I would call APP (not because I work for them, I don't, but because I think they have the best prices and best delivery times) and give them your model and serial numbers and see if they cannot fix you up.

I am betting they can, but if not, let us know.

I was able to locate the manual and parts number with exploded view that came with the appliance. I placed the other with APP last night. They did have the best price. It was one of the expensive handles of course. Different part # corresponded to color of appliance. Look forward to reciving the part soon.

Yeah, it always is the expensive one, but you will save a lot from not having a service call.
