Model Number: DCCD330GD0WC Brand: GE Age: 5 - 10 years
I have just taken over the service on 2 GE Dryer Mod# DCCD330GD0WC and the matching washing machines and I need to replace the belt and rollers and seals but I cannot figure out how to open the cabinet to get to the inside.
I have the keys for the timer and the coin box, what am I overlooking? Also on one of the dryers one timer will shut off in about 20 minuets sooner and not dry the load, how do I change the drying time? Looking at the timers one gear is obviously different from the other, do I have to replace the entire timer or can I get the individual gear set for a certain amount of minuets. Thank you in advance. Hi Jim,
Open the door and remove the screws on top of the door frame which holding the top panel. If the top panel would not go up then remove the coin box and the bolt (#148 on the diagram). Lift up the top panel and remove the four screws (two on the to and two on bottom) holding the front panel. Remove therear access panel. Remove the belt from the idler and the motor pulleys. Remove the drum. Looks like the problem with the dryer which shuts off sooner is a bad timer. There are no rollers in this dryer. It has the rear bearing and the front bearing with a glides. You have to order two of them. - The belt Part number: AP4324040 - The idler pulley Part number: AP2043227 - The front drum bearing Part number: AP3790641 - The glide (aka slide) Part number: AP2041815 - The rear bearing kit Part number: AP2619300 - The front bottom felt Part number: AP4319934 - The high temperature adhesive (needed for the felt installation) Part number: AP4284239 Here are the breakdown diagrams and Replacement parts for GE DCCD330GD0WC | AppliancePartsPros.com Gene.
