Model Number: nde2330ayw Brand: Amana Age: More than 10 years
I have replaced high limit and thermal fuse. Checked for air leaks around tub and added new felt and drum glides. I have now unhooked the brown switch ( I think its called a ambient switch)that is under the cycling swicth and the heat runs up to 180 degrees for a while than cycles back to about 135. With that ambient temp switch hooked up it would only get to about 120 degrees and cycle down to 85 degrees. Is the ambient switch bad or something in the selector switch up top. Any remedies would be appreciated.
