Heat wont stay on
Model Number: fdg546res2 Brand: Kenmore Age: 1 - 5 years
The heat comes on, but won't stay on. It only gets hot for about 5 minutes.
After the first wave of heat, I can see the ignitor glow and try and ignite the gas again for another wave of heat. Any ideas?

Hi Mark,
Most likely the problem with your dryer are the coils on the gas valve. - The part number for the kit of coils is AP2150379 - Here are the break down diagrams for the Frigidaire dryer Model FDG546RES2 Good luck. Gene.
