Default Neptune dryer curcuit board repair
Model Number: MDE5500AYW   Brand: Maytag   Age: 5 - 10 years   
I ordered the curcuit board for my neptune washer after narrowing down the problem (error code 8.8) and am waiting for it's arrival. My question is after I conact the new board do I need to do anything or should the dryer start working immediantly. Thanks for your help with this issue.

Hi Brigit,

The control board for your dryer has been programmed by the manufacturer and you can use the dryer right after the new board is installed.
