Model Number: lg6151xswo Brand: Whirlpool Age: 5 - 10 years
i have a whirpool that i replaced the high limit thermostat and it still isn't drying like it use too ? next to replacing the dryer where / what should i try next?

If it takes longer time to dry but there is warm inside the dryer then the problem is a clogged vent outside the dryer.
Disconnect the vent hose from the dryer and run a couple loads. If you see better time, then the vent has to be cleaned. - Here are the break down diagrams for the Whirlpool dryer Model LG6151XSW0 Good luck. Gene.

There is a vent inside the wall and not only the vent hose.
This vent causing the air flow restriction more often. That's why I recommended to disconnect the hose and run a couple of loads without the hose. Gene.
