The timer (original part 693755) quit on my gas dryer. The replacement part identified as a replacement Whirlpool Part is listed as 279561. I ordered the part on-line and expected an easy replacement. However the existing wiring harness to the timer has 6 wires (RL, RH, Y, BG, RS, and CS). The existing timer also has two connection points from the timer motor to a Y post and a TM terminal. There is also a "jumper" wire from a Y terminal to another Y terminal. The new "replacement" timer only has 5 available terminals and no jumper connection. The terminals on the new timer are labelled BG, Y, R, RSI, and CS. The new timer motor is connected to terminals labelled TM and one adjacent to the Y connection. Of course no instructions with the new timer. I end up with one terminal marked R and two wires labelled RH and RL (associated with the timer heat). See the attached wiring diagram from the dryer. Help!!!!
