Greetings,

I have a couple of idea's, but I just needed helping finding a wiring diagram since it didn't come with a manual (We bought it used friend of a friend).

Anyways, here is a further explanation of the problem. It will turn, and then it will shut off about midway through the cycle. After this it won't restart and just makes one long buzz as you push the start button. Plus, it does this for like a day or two until you can restart it again. I cleaned out the blower the other day, and wow, that was pretty loaded with junk, so I don't think it's that. Thus, I if anyone has a diagram of something related to it that would help me check with a meter it would be greatly appericated!

Thanks,
Alistair

Alistair,

The model number you posted is incorrect. Verify and repost it.

Gene,

I figured it out after I tore it all apart. I put the blame on a bad motor, and at this rate I think it will be cheaper buy a new dryer. Thanks, tho. BTW, that was the right model, so I guess it's an older Kenmore than I thought.

Thanks anyways,
Ali

You are welcome Ali.

When you post the model number you missed the "110" prefix. That's why it did not come up.

If the dryer is still in good shape, probably it's worth a new motor for less than $80.
