Default My daughter just broke the dryer :(
Brand: Whirlpool   Age: 1 - 5 years

My 10yr old daughter wanted to clean her shoes before school tomorrow. She washed them and then placed them in the dryer with about 4 towels. After about 10 min the dryer stopped. A shoe had lodged between the drum and door.

It will not restart and there was a burning plastic smell. She is beating herself up, ad I am unsure how to fix it.

Please help!

I honestly do not know. My husband pulled it away from the wall which means the door is against my freezer. It is a Commercial quality, Super capacity.

I checked the power cord and box and cannot find any signs of scorching. We live pretty remote so getting someone to help is difficult.
